• Apply – please complete the online application – first – we will answer all your questions during the processing of your application

  • We will be reaching out to:

  • 2 personal references (non-relatives please)

  • Current or previous Veterinarian

  • You! During a ZOOM video chat where you can show us around (home check), that is where we can talk face-to-face about what your family is looking for in your perfect Pet match

• Meet and Greet - please note that all meet and greets are schedule via appointment after an online application is submitted and approved

  • Meet and greets can be conducted in one of two locations Chesapeake Beach MD, or Arnold MD - multiple pups or cats can be met during the meet and greet as long as the potential adopter(s) are compatible (there is a limit of animals that can be met at Arnold location)

  • All family memb​ers are required to attend including the family dog(s) 

  • Please bring a martingale collar and double loop leash (incorrect size collars can be exchanged for a donated collar)

  • We do not hold animals

  • Exceptions can be made pending approval 

  • Adoption fee to be paid same day unless prior approval via Cash (preferred), Venmo or Paypal (family and friends)

How to Prepare to Bring your Furry Friend Home

• Decompression- read about decompression prior to attending your meet and greet, this process is absolutely vital in successfully integrating your new pet(s)
